US Patent 7955614 - Nanopore device for sustained release of therapeutic agent

This patent is from Delpor Inc. and includes some very basic claims to nanoporous membranes used in drug delivery. Claim 1 reads:

1. A drug delivery device, comprising:

a capsule for implantation into the body, wherein said capsule comprises a fluid impermeable wall defining a reservoir for containing a substance said wall comprising at least one port; and

a nanopore membrane in communication with said port, said membrane having pores dimensioned to control the rate of diffusion of said substance from said capsule.
